Country Chic Easter Brunch

For anyone still looking for Easter ideas, I put together a Country Chic Easter Brunch. I like to draw from earth elements and inspiration from nature, and you will see a lot of that in this Easter celebration.

I selected the color palette for my Easter table decorations pulling orange from the carrots the Easter Bunny would enjoy and green influenced by spring bloom.

I added white lace for country charm and a few drops of shimmer and shine for chic impact from my fine china and serving ware.

Fabrics like natural burlap for the table runner and Easter party favors in burlap bags take us back to nature.

I chose not to color my Easter eggs and stick to natural brown eggs set in woven birds’ nests wrapped in raffia and embellished with rosemary.

In terms of green and foliage I simply used rosemary from my garden. Charming like a small sprig from an evergreen tree the wonderful smell and assertively pine-like fragrance and pungent flavor of rosemary goes a long way. It’s said to be good luck at celebrations and wards off evil. Simplicity of the countryside is at its peak with egg shell holders acting as vases for rosemary.

What country celebration doesn’t have lemonade? We did a spin on the typical beverage with Carrot Lemonade – which is refreshing and healthy. It can be enjoyed by both adults and children without having to worry about separate drinks unlike the usual mimosa that pops up at most brunch events. It coordinated perfectly with the event colors.
