The Metabolism Miracle diet is going great for me, I’m down about 6 pounds and feeling enthusiastic and motivated since I can see the pounds coming off. I like to weigh myself a couple of times a week in the morning before I eat anything. I have often weighed myself every day during my diets and although most fitness experts recommend against it, I see no problem in it if that tiny drop on the scale makes me hopeful. It is good to keep in mind that this may not work for everybody because the scale may look different if you retain water one day or something like that.
Moving along to hunger pangs. I seem to do this diet without eating in between for the most part. There are some days, if I have eaten a lighter lunch that I am a little hungry until dinner. Since, I don’t like to munch on raw vegies and things like yogurt would count as 5 g of carb, I usually grab some nuts witch is a great supper food or I go for a bowl of soup between my 5 hours. Soup is a warm and filling option during the winter.
Today, I have a wonderfully rich and creamy recipe for a Cream of Broccoli Soup. Yes, Cream of Broccoli, you can eat something as rich and indulgent as this and have no worries because I make my recipe with no rue, thus no carb. The cream does mean that there is some fat in this soup, however it is a subtle amount and probably no more than what eating a handful of nuts will give you. We don’t worry about fat or calories on this diet as we will lose weight regardless as long as we watch the carb intake. That is needless to say that you don’t go on a fat binge and eat up so much that it is obviously unhealthy. I find the fat in dairy products, such as cheese and cream, to be very helpful and indulging during a diet. It makes you feel like you are not dieting at all and so will this soup.
Before I go on to this recipe, I want to mention another creamy soup that works for this diet and is even healthier, as well as “oh so good!” If you like soups check out this Eggplant Basil Soup. Now on to the recipe for Cream of Broccoli Soup. Here you go!
