I posted an apple cider recipe yesterday and it occurred to me that us Californians my prefer something with an Autumn flavor on the cooler side. Although it has cooled of a bit from the smoldering heat wave, it is still bright and sunny, making it a struggle to get in the mood for warm spiced cider. So. I have a Spiced Cider Punch recipe that is on the cooler side.
This Spiced Cider Punch still has a gorgeous pink hue, which makes it a great option to serve at your Breast Cancer Awareness fundraising this month. I found these great labels and straw flags that make it perfect to present in old fashioned milk bottles.
Spiced Apple Cider Punch
6 cups apple cider
2 cups cranberry juice
1/2 cup lemon juice
1, 750 ml bottle sparkling white grape juice (use 2 to make more fizz)
Method
Combine the cider, orange juice, and lemon juice in a pitcher, then slowly add the sparkling juice. Serve or refrigerate until ready to use.
